Meetings

When and where the council meets, and how to come along or speak.

When the council meets

The second Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm, alternating between Bomere Heath Village Hall and Fitz Village Hall.

Every meeting has time set aside for residents to speak. Notice of the meeting and the business to be discussed goes up at least three clear days beforehand, as the Local Government Act requires, and minutes are published here once the council has approved them.

Meeting dates

  • To address the council, write to the clerk at least five days before a meeting with a brief outline.

Coming to a meeting

Meetings are open to everyone living in the parish. You do not need to book, and you are welcome to simply sit and listen. If you would like to raise something, it helps the clerk to know in advance so it can be put on the agenda.
